Another YouTube experiment from yours truly
The weather has begun to feel decidedly spring-like albeit briefly no doubt. I don’t have a huge amount to write about at the moment though I thought I would make a brief mention of my latest offering on youtube which is meant to run in concert with stuff of flickr and this site, or rather photos that are soon to appear. Prestbury Mirrors is here and it’s a little bit like Derek Jarman meets Minor White – two of my main inspirations in one can’t be bad!
I do feel as though I have been stuck in something of a rut again, that is it until very recently, maybe it is the positive impetus of the burgeoning spring time but my mental and physical energy levels have returned to something more like normal. Again though, I just wish I had more time to do (indulge) in the things that I enjoy the most and take full advantage of these inspiring days. The winter felt as though it was dragging on interminably last year though maybe that had something to do with the general lack of sunlight in 2007 and all of the near endless rains.
I must do more, take more photos, devise more ideas and contribute to everything!
